Peer wellness ambassadors

Peer wellness ambassadors are students trained in peer support and active listening. They’re here to listen, offer support and help you find wellness resources at Concordia and in the community.

CU Wellness works with partners across Concordia and in the community to develop wellness programming and create welcoming spaces that support student well-being.

Rudy Pejo

BA, Human Relations & Psychology
Wellness coordinator

Drawing on a diverse background in student affairs, including wellness, academic and professional development and student leadership, Rudy has developed and coordinated a broad range of initiatives that enhance the student experience across the Concordia community.

His work is guided by a commitment to collaboration, community and a student-centred approach. He strives to foster welcoming, judgement-free spaces where students feel heard, supported and empowered to grow and thrive.

Anda Dragomir

PhD, Psychologist, Wellness counsellor

Anda is a registered clinical psychologist with extensive experience in cognitive behavioral therapy, specializing in schema therapy and chronic disease management. Employing a client-centered approach, Dr. Dragomir prioritizes collaborative communication to gain a deep understanding of her clients' unique experiences and empower them to overcome their challenges.

Dr. Dragomir has also designed and led workshops on health behavior change and stress management. In addition, she has lectured at universities in Canada and Ireland on research methods and health behavior change theories. This combination of practical experience and academic involvement underscores her commitment to advancing mental health practices and her passion for education and research.

Jade-Isis Lefebvre

MA, Psy.D, Psychologist, Wellness counsellor - on leave

Jade is a registered psychologist, yoga teacher and meditation teacher on the Counselling and Psychological Services and the CU Wellness teams. She provides short-term therapy, workshops, prevention and outreach initiatives, trains peer supporters and builds educational wellness content. Her doctoral research focused on self-compassion and her therapeutic work is grounded in an integrative humanistic, third-wave CBT, attachment/trauma and compassionate approaches. 

Dr. Lefebvre provides spaces for students to explore their experiences, develop their strengths and creatively connect to their authentic selves. Her works aims to empower students in implementing meaningful change, through gaining deeper understanding of personal narratives, values, meaning, relationships and our systems.
