Room booking policies

  • Rooms are meant to be used by undergraduate and graduate students, and postdocs to study and conduct research activities. 

  • Rooms are for current undergraduate and graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows at Concordia University.

  • Priority use is given to those who have booked the room through the bookings page.

  • Empty rooms may be used without prior booking; however, they must be vacated if a group with a valid booking arrives.

  • Bookings become invalid if the room is not claimed within the first 15 minutes. 

  • The booking becomes invalid if at any point the room is left unoccupied after the first 15 minutes of the reservation.

  • Rooms may be reserved for up to three consecutive hours.

  • Rooms may be reserved up to 14 days in advance.

  • A maximum of one room can be booked per person per day.

  • A maximum of three Group Study Room bookings can be made per person per week.

  • Priority will be given to groups of students who would like to study together in the rooms. This does not apply to students with disabilities.

  • The School of Graduate Studies reserves the right to cancel reservations for maintenance or other unforeseen circumstances.
