Centre for Gender Advocacy
The Centre for Gender Advocacy is a Concordia-based organization that "offers free confidential support services through its Peer Support and Advocacy (PSA) program, which operates on principles of empowerment, harm reduction and self-determination."
Interligne is a first response centre that provides help and information to those concerned with sexual orientation and gender diversity.
Centre de solidarité lesbienne
S’appuyant sur l’analyse féministe, le Centre de solidarité lesbienne "a pour mission d’améliorer les conditions de vie des lesbiennes en leur offrant des services et des interventions adaptés à leur réalité, et ce, dans les domaines de la violence conjugale, du bien-être et de la santé. Le CSL est un lieu d’échanges et d’entraide par et pour les lesbiennes. Également, de la sensibilisation s’effectue auprès de diverses institutions sur les différentes réalités des lesbiennes."
The Community Centre for Gay and Lesbians of Montreal (CCGLM)
The CCGLM "aims to offer Montreal’s LGBT community a common gathering place for organizations and individuals interested in improving the experience of homosexual and trans-identified persons through education, information and research."
Queer Concordia is "an on-campus resource center for all your LGBTQ2+ needs."
Project 10 is a Montreal community organization that "works to promote the personal, social, sexual and mental well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, two-spirit, intersexed and questioning youth and adults 14-25." They have drop-in services, a space for afternoon "hangouts", a listening line, active listening sessions, advocacy and workshops.
RÉZO (previously Action Sero Zero) "is a community-based organization for gay and bisexual men in Montreal whose focus is overall health promotion as well as the prevention of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Since 1991, we have provided a dynamic presence in the community, offering activities and services to help people maintain and improve their health."
McGill University Sexual Identity Centre (MUSIC)
MUSIC "provides specialized mental health care to individuals, couples and families with sexual orientation and gender identity issues. Our clientele includes people who are questioning their gender or sexual orientation or who feel unhappy about it, individuals and couples seeking to improve the quality of their interpersonal relationships, and couples and families who have concerns about a loved one’s gender or sexual orientation."
Meraki Health Centre
The Meraki Health Centre offers a variety of services for transgender individuals that includes initiation and follow-up for hormone therapy as well as counselling.
Located in the Gay Village, Clinque Quorum provides a variety of services that include a pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) clinic, post exposure prophylaxis (PEP) and transgender care (including hormone therapy). Appointments can be booked online.
