LTK+ Participates in Commission on the Status of Women (CSW67) conference


Larysa Lysenko addresses the United Nation’s Commission on the Status of Women (CSW67) alongside her panel.

Larysa Lysenko represented the CSLP’s Learning Toolkit (LTK+) team at the United Nation’s Commission on the Status of Women (CSW67) panel Lessons in leveraging digital education, technology, and innovation for gender equality in the Global South.

Organized by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), the panel featured supported partners from Canada and across the Global South. Larysa presented the work on research and scaling being done by the LTK+ team in the Global South as they continue implementing ABRA and READS and associated teacher professional development in Kenya, Rwanda, and Bangladesh. The other projects discussed at the panel were Can’t Wait to Learn (Jasmine Turner, War Child Holland) and Connecta Ideas (Claudia Sugimaru, Grupo de Análisis para el Desarrollo GRADE).

The Honourable Marci Ian, Minister of Women and Gender Equality and Youth, closed the panel with reflection on the power of educational technologies for gender equity.
