Imagine that we have just returned to a "new normal" post COVID-19 isolation. How will you communicate with people, both new and old family/friends/colleagues/strangers?

Effective communication is important for many parts of our personal spaces, such as connecting with family and friends, lending a compassionate ear to a colleague, or reading emotions from someone's non-verbal cues. Come prepared to take part in an interactive learning experience, a safe space to practice and learn while enhancing our listening skills. Then, we look at how body language and vocal variety can be used to speak authentically with heart.

Facilitator: Niem Huynh, PhD, PPCC

Niem Huynh Geographer. Inquirer. Risk taker (calculated). She is an educator and geographer by training and applies those skills to her role at Concordia University. Niem's diverse professional experience working in different positions within the university and non-profit sectors has ignited her interest in how people navigate their career paths.
