Africa is urbanizing fast. More than 22 million people join Africa’s urban population every year. In 2050, 1.3 billion people — nearly a quarter of the world’s urban population — will be in Africa. What are the impacts of this rapid urbanization for the future of Africa and the world?
Join scholars from around the world to decipher urbanization trends in Africa and debate its implications.
