Graduate student funding opportunities

The Faculty and its researchers offer awards, fellowships, research bursaries and other training opportunities to support graduate students pursuing their degrees. These funding opportunities play a crucial role in nurturing the next generation of scholars and researchers, paving the way for advancing knowledge and innovation.

Faculty of Arts and Science Graduate Entrance Awards

The Faculty of Arts and Sciences is committed to creating a supportive and enriching environment where graduate students can focus on their studies, pursue meaningful research, and thrive academically and professionally. To help make this possible, the Faculty provides funding support to master’s and doctoral students to offset the cost of their studies and advance their academic goals.

Funding is administered through individual academic units and may range from one-year awards of $5,000 to multi-year funding packages, depending on the program and level of study.
