Find parking
Loyola Campus: You may park in front each residence building:
- Hingston Hall, wing A (HA Building) Use the driveway at 4455 West Broadway St.
- Hingston Hall, wing B (HB Building)
- Jesuit Residence (JR Building)
Sir George Williams Campus: You may unload your vehicle at the Grey Nuns Residence. Use the entrance at 1200 Guy St. You will then need to park on the street or in a parking lot nearby.
Check in
Come see us when you arrive. We can’t wait to meet you!
Loyola: Stop by the HA Building.
Sir George Williams Campus: Stop by room E-104 in the Grey Nuns Residence.
Take good care of the access card you receive at check-in, since you will need to swipe it each time you enter a residence building.
A note about guests: Anyone who doesn’t live in residence is considered a guest. You may not host a guest during move-in weekend. Anyone helping you move your belongings into your room is kindly asked to go once you're settled in!
Familiarize yourself with services & resources
Take advantage of all the information and services available to you. Much more information is available on the current residents pages, including paying your rent.
Promoting your health and wellness
All Residence Assistants and Residence Life staff can provide guidance. If you are struggling personally, or need some extra academic support, we can help you! During office hours there is always a Residence Life staff member available. In off-hours, there is always an RA on duty.
Safety
The team at Campus Safety and Prevention Services is committed to ensuring the safety of all residents 24/7. They perform regular building surveillance by monitoring the entrance points and completing rounds. Call 514-848-3717 in an emergency. They also offer safety checks and a Walk-Safe program.
TIP: While our campuses are safe, they are located in a busy metropolitan city. Consider acquiring insurance protection for your personal property.
Play an active role in ensuring safety in residence. For instance, holding the door open for someone — although usually the polite thing to do — might actually result in letting in an intruder. You should report any suspicious activity immediately to Campus Safety and Prevention Services or a Residence Life staff member.
Emergency comunications: Rave Guardian app
Keep abreast of situation as they happen by downloading the Rave Guardian app: you will receive notifications as they become available.
Enjoy yourself!
Events and activities
Welcome Week is filled with activities run by your RAs to introduce to fellow residents and the city! It’s a great way to kick off the year, so sign up for as many activities as you can! A full schedule of all the events and registrations will be available to you at move-in!
