A Resident Assistant is a full-time Concordia student who lives in residence and works to facilitate the growth and development of the residence community. Residence Life is looking for dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate role models to be Resident Assistants (RAs) for the 2021-22 academic year.

In overseeing a group of students, you'll help each one achieve their academic, social, and personal goals through creative and educational programming.

You are also responsible for creating and maintaining a safe and welcoming community, alongside other RAs, under the supervision of a manager, and as part of the Residence Life team.

The current RA position runs from August 11, 2022 to move-out period in May 2023. RA’s this year need to be available to stay in residence up to and including December 23, 2022 and be back from the winter break by January 3, 2023. (Dates are subject to change.)

RAs agree to abide by the community codes. 

What it pays:

Compensation for the 2022-2023 Academic year is $15.75 per hour, less applicable deductions including those for room and board (as per labour standards). RA’s benefit from a variety of training and professional development throughout their year in residence.


Compensation, training dates and required on campus dates are subject to change for the 2022-2023 RA position.
