L'OJIQ Travel Bursary

Les Offices jeunesse internationaux du Québec (LOJIQ) promotes the professional and personal development of young Quebec adults by enabling them to carry out a project involving mobility in Quebec, Canada or internationally. They offer travel grants to help students finance part of their airfare and travel insurance.

Available Programs

Study Abroad

The L'OJIQ Study Abroad provides funding for students aged 18 to 35 to complete one or two consecutive study sessions abroad. With the support of LOJIQ, you will be able to gain another perspective in your field of study in an international educational institution. 

Internship & Research Projects

The Internships and Research Projects program encourages the personal and professional development of students aged 18 to 35. With the financial support of LOJIQ, you will be able to carry out an internship in the workplace or a project related to your school career.

Award Provisions for Student Mobility

Travel bursary

The study sessions benefit from financial support in the form of a lump sum established according to the geographical area of ​​the project. Please consult the L'OJIQ website for details on the flat-rate grid for study sessions.

Travel Insurance and Emergency Medical Care

All student participating in a mobility program outside of Quebec must have travel insurance/ emergency medical care for the duration of their sojourn. Confirmaiton will be requested by L'OJIQ.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be a Canadia citizen or a Quebec resident and have lived in Quebec for at least one year.
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old. 
  • Hold a valid Quebec health insurance card (RAMQ).
  • Be regsitered as a full-time student and have completed at least one year of studies.
  • Have not previously participated in a L'OJIQ program.

How to Apply

Participants of the Concordia Student Exchange Program

Concordia International will provide L'OJIQ with a list of eligible students, their destination and contact information.  L'OJIQ will send an e-mail to those students with instructions on how to apply and the application date.
