Paula Bath:
My inspiration

A rubber stamp sits on top of a piece of paper that has been marked with a dark blue stamp mark. A creative product produced by a group of co-creating deaf and hearing people during a Mapping Cultural Spaces project (c) SPILL.PROPAGATION. The stamp is of Robert Sirvage’s concept of “Dorsality” designed to mark the sense found in spaces when the environment is in harmony with people communicating in sign languages. Credit: Paula Bath.

How does communication echo and resonate across deaf and hearing experiences?

I am inspired by deaf and hearing people coming together in a creative process, for different reasons and in different ways, working together multisensory discovering new senses, building new relationships with themselves, others and the environment and expanding human communication and interconnection.
