What is Postdoctoral Research and Career Day?
Hosted by a different participating university annually, this event brings together postdoctoral scholars from across Quebec to explore diverse career opportunities while fostering connections with peers, academics and industry professionals.
Expect informative and interactive career panels where you can hear from professionals from various sectors and ask questions.
Concordia is hosting Postdoctoral Research and Career Day in 2026.
Eligibility
To attend this event for free, you must be a postdoctoral scholar from one of the following participating universities:
Bishop’s University
Concordia University
ETS
HEC
INRS
McGill University
Polytechnique de Montréal
Université Laval
Université de Montréal
Université de Sherbrooke
UQAM.
Postdocs who are not part of one of the participating institutions may still attend but must pay a non-refundable fee at registration.
Registration
This event is free for postdoctoral scholars from participating universities. However, in order to register for this event, a $55 deposit paid by credit card is required. The deposit will be fully refunded after you attend the event, except for postdoctoral scholars from non-participating universities.

This year, we’re hosting three virtual career panels ahead of the event to equip you with insights and resources, helping you make informed, well-rounded career decisions.
