Select the option to do an in-person audition in the pre-audition questionnaire. From the drop down menu, select a date (March 11 or 12).

The audition will consist of a 75-minute group class in contemporary technique, and a 90 minute guided choreographic process session where you will develop solo material After a short lunch break, you will perform your new solo in front of the whole group. You will then take part in a 15-minute one-on-one interview with a faculty member.  NOTE: there is no need to prepare choreography material in advance.


You will be guided through a series of exercises and instructions for your video audition.  The video material must be presented in the following order with title introduction to each section. 

  1. Introduce yourself to the camera
  2. Technique exercises in the order of presentation
  3. Improvisation without music.  2-3 minutes.
  4. Solo choreographed and performed by you for this audition.  Maximum 3 minutes.
  5. Interview: respond to questions on the pre-audition questionnaire.
