- For those attending online: we will post a zoom link on the day of the event on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/1174008966663586/

-For those attending in person: 251 Avenue des Pins, H2W-1R6 . Snacks provided, masks required. Please send us an email or direct message to let us know if you will attend in person, so we can prepare accordingly (jen at researchforthefrontlines@gmail.com)

Important info for folks attending the event in person, in Tiohtià:ke / Mooniyang / Montreal :

The event will take plan in the Noviciat Room/Salle du Noviciat in the La Cité-des-Hospitalières which is at 251 Ave. des Pins. You can enter through the entrance in the stone wall on des Pins, near the corner of Du Parc. There is construction going on in that section of des Pins, but there is access through the construction site

The space is accessible to people with diverse mobility needs. For wheelchair access, we’ll use the loading dock accessible from the courtyard. Call or text us when you arrive so we can help you use this alternative access (514-546-3924).

In solidarity with vulnerable folk, we ask that everyone wear a mask during the event. Masks will be provided at the entrance of the Noviciat Room.

Please note that Tim Groves will be joining the event through zoom. Keith Scott and Jen Gobby, the co-directors of Research for the Front Lines will be present in person at the event and are excited to meet you!

Once the training is over and the zoom is closed, we’ll be hosting a little social time, with snacks and beverages on the beautiful balcony off the Noviciat Room. Once outside, we’ll be able to remove the masks for snacking and chatting. Join us for this lovely gathering!

We'd like to thank the folks at the Social Justice Centre at Concordia University for helping us offer this training. The Social Justice Centre is co-directed by Bengi Akbulut and Pablo Gilabert. The mandate of the centre is to encourage social justice research and support social justice struggles. Info: https://www.concordia.ca/socialjustice
