Inviting visitors to Canada
How to invite your family and friends to visit you in Montreal.
Check if your visitor needs an eTA or a TRV.
For eTAs
If your visitor needs an eTA, they can apply online.
For TRVs
If your visitor requires a TRV, you can assist them with their TRV application.
Provide your visitor with the following documents to include in their application:
- Your letter of invitation
- A letter of invitation issued by Concordia University available at the Birks Service Centre
- Copy of your study permit
- Copy of your passport
- Full-Time Attestation letter
