How can network digital twin help streaming systems deliver smoother digital experiences for users in high-mobility environments?
My research was inspired by the growing role mobile connectivity plays in everyday life, especially as more users rely on digital services while travelling. What may seem like a simple video freeze or delayed connection can interrupt access to information, learning, navigation, communication, safety updates, infotainment and other real-time services in high-mobility environments such as connected vehicles and public transit. This motivates my work on using virtual network models to anticipate changing user context and network conditions, so that streaming systems can make smarter decisions and deliver more reliable digital experiences for users on the move.
