FRQ Prix Relève étoile

Eligibility

  • Master's, doctoral students and postdocs;
  • You must be attending a Quebec educational institution, an institution affiliated with a Quebec university, or a Quebec research institution at the time of the competition deadline.

Application

You should submit your application online through the FRQnet portfolio. The application form must be completed in French (however, the attached documents may be written in French or English).

It is your responsibility to select the award related to the main sector of your work (Nature and Technologies, Health or Society and Culture).

A complete application should include:

  1. The completed electronic form.
  2.  A copy of the submitted work. In the case of a work or performance, a link to the work is acceptable.
  3. A document certifying that the submitted work has been made public for less than 13 months prior to the competition deadline.
  4. A document attesting to enrollment in a Quebec educational institution, an institution affiliated with a Quebec university, or a Quebec research institution, as of the competition deadline.

Announcement of results

The FRQ will announce the names of the award recipients monthly through its newsletter, starting in January 2026.
