Understanding the world through Ireland

Irish Studies offers a unique and exciting educational experience. Focusing on Ireland and its global Diaspora’s rich and complex history and culture from multiple disciplinary perspectives raises a host of pressing issues that have comparative resonances and relevance beyond Irish Studies.

Our students hone critical thinking, analytical, research, writing, creation and presentation skills that are applicable to many different fields and professions. Tuition support and other scholarships, opportunities to travel and study in Ireland, and a small welcoming department will further enhance your university experience.
