Patrick McKenna left Belfast in 1975 and now lives in Montreal, Canada. He completed the Introduction to Spoken Irish course in 2025 and has shared his experience in The Irish Times, and which was republished in The Montreal Gazette.

Concordia students can register for IRST 299 Sec. A in the Fall and Winter terms of the 2026/27 academic year. The course is six credits and is open to all.
