The Geology and Geomorphology teaching laboratory is equipped with an extensive collection of mineral and rock samples, including samples from many localities in Quebec as well as the full suite of rocks exposed in the Grand Canyon of the Colorado River. The lab also has a wide variety of tools and materials for testing physical properties of minerals and rocks, 3D crystallographic and structural models and an up-to-date geologic reference library. It is also equipped with mirror stereoscopes for aerial photo interpretation of landforms.
