The Centre for the Study of Learning and Performance is a multi-institutional research centre of excellence composed of dozens of faculty researchers, a diverse professional staff, and a large number of graduate students.

Education Makers study what people learn and how they develop 21st century skills and competencies in maker-led activities. We work on developing an inclusive, interdisciplinary and intergenerational workshop model with multi-level and complex challenges where collaboration takes its full meaning because working alone is not possible. Here are some examples of projects we are conducting: Chalet Kent Makerspace, Rolloween, Sustainamakability, Biomaking, Maker Competencies, Engaging Youth in Maker culture, Maker Case Studies, Videogame Co-Design, Critical Making, Gamepad and Arcades, 3D Printer Builds.
