Faculty and Staff Giving
From academic resources to financial aid and awards, faculty, staff and Concordia retirees make a lasting impact across the university each year through their generosity and volunteer efforts.
Support from our internal community shows external donors that we believe in our students, and inspires them to follow our lead.
How to make your gift
The easiest way for faculty and staff to give is through biweekly payroll deductions. It’s simple and each payment adds up to make a big impact. Payroll deductions will appear in the “donations” box of your Relevé 1 and T4 slips for the corresponding year.
You can also donate online with a credit card, either with a one-time donation or a recurring pledge. Official donation receipts for credit card gifts will be issued by email.
Your gift can be directed to any area of the university that is meaningful to you. There are many areas to support, so contact us for help matching your interest to a specific cause.

Christopher Moore: Eyeline™, from the Intimacy Devices series, 2020
“When students join Concordia, they become part of our community, and communities care for and support one another.
I make contributions through payroll deductions to give back to students studying Design and Computation Arts. It’s simple and seamless, and you can direct your contributions to any area of the university you’re passionate about.
I encourage everyone to do it! This is a small, but impactful way to encourage students throughout their experiences with us at Concordia.”
— Christopher Moore, associate professor and graduate program director, Design and Computation Arts
Popular programs
Shuffle
During our annual community walkathon, Shufflers walk from the Sir George Williams campus to the Loyola campus to raise funds for bursaries, scholarships, and other cherished programs.
Retired faculty and staff
Former Concordia employees continue to contribute to the university, participating in fundraising events and donating to their scholarships and awards endowment.
Tribute giving
Give in honour or in memory of a friend, colleague or loved one. When you give in tribute, you highlight the values and passions of the individual being recognized and create a positive impact for others.
