Be a game changer

On hiatus since 2018, the Concordia Golf Team is poised to make a return. A passionate and talented cohort of men and women are eager to put their skills to the test and represent Concordia on the course. 

To make their ambitions possible, we need your support. Our goal is to raise $25,000 that would enable Concordia students to compete against top golfers at other universities.

What your support will accomplish

Donor support will allow us to send 10 Concordia students to each of three top-notch tournaments. Tournaments are located in Lachute, Gatineau and Sherbrooke regions and will pit leading university golfers from across Quebec.

Funding will cover costs related to travel, lodging, meals and tournament registration fees for all 10 players at each event. Additionally, funds will be used to outfit players in custom polos and windbreakers. Any remaining funds will go towards costs associated with practice and qualification rounds.

• Reignite a vital Concordia team: Our momentum as a leading Canadian post-secondary institution is widely recognized. Your support to fund a golf team ensures a diversity of sporting opportunities that is on par with any other Canadian university.
• Provide unparalleled opportunities to driven student athletes: Your support will ensure 10 or more players — men and women — gain up to three high-quality and highly memorable competition experiences.
• Help student athletes to surpass themselves: Our student athletes test their physical and mental endurance regularly. Your support for young golfers will allow them to cultivate concentration, leadership, determination and more. 
• Develop skills that carry over from the green: Your support enables student athletes to balance academics and sports training in a healthy manner, preparing them for a host of future challenges.
