Starting your first career is not easy: there is a lot to learn! In addition to the new content, colleagues, and processes, there are also a lot of unwritten and unexplained rules to interpret and navigate. In this workshop, we will have a frank and open conversation about what to do, what not to do, and how to navigate the complex social and political landscapes of the world of work. Through examination of research, small and large group discussions, and case studies, we will share a small set of powerful professional practices that will help you make the most of your first big job.
