In this workshop, you will learn how volunteering can improve your career prospects, help you develop skills and give you the satisfaction of contributing to your community.
Volunteering can help you gain relevant work experience, develop critical career skills and build a network that will assist you in your job search. Crucial to doing this successfully is the reflection and planning involved in selecting the right volunteer opportunity for you. The facilitator will help you to consider your strategic objectives, learn to select the best opportunity or create your own project and learn tips on how to present your volunteer experience in your job search. Volunteering can be a great career move no matter what your field of study; come find out why!
