This award will be presented to a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant who has made an outstanding contribution to inorganic chemistry, demonstrating exceptional promise, while working in Canada. Eligible candidates must have held their first professional appointment as an independent researcher in academia, government, or industry for ten years or less at the time of nomination (excluding time spent on parental leave). Awardees must be members of the Inorganic Division working in Canada at the time of the award.
