Winter term remains online through February 2

January 13, 2022
|

Mindful of the public health situation in Montreal, Concordia will continue with online courses through February 2. Expect in-person courses to resume February 3.  In the event of any change to that date, the university will notify you a week beforehand.

Campuses remain open

The Library and Birks Student Service Centre are open and student services are available in person as well as remotely.

If you’d like to take a break, you can make use of designated spaces. You may remove your mask and eat, provided you maintain two metres’ distance from others.

If you’re a teaching assistant who needs a space on campus to deliver an online tutorial, you can make use of the classroom associated with the tutorial as indicated in the Student Information System. Exceptionally, as the only person in the room, you may remove your mask.

International students

Immigration regulations require that registered international students maintain valid immigration documents. The last day to arrive in Montreal and submit your immigration documents remains January 19.

Updated safety protocol

Concordia recently updated its procedures for suspected and confirmed cases of COVID-19. Safety measures in place on campus reflect the latest mask requirements.

COVID-19 booster shot

If you are 18 or older, you can book an appointment for your free booster dose as of January 14.

Academic reminders

Course-drop deadline: The last day to drop courses without financial penalty (DNE) is January 19, 2022. Add or drop a course within the “My CU Account” section of the Student Hub. The last day to drop a course with no refund (DISC) has been extended until April 18, 2022.

Accommodations: A reminder that students experiencing temporary difficulties which could impact their ability to attend classes or submit coursework on time can submit a short-term absence form (conditions apply). We’ll keep you updated as more safety and academic protocols are developed.
