One of the many leadership myths is that leadership is based on titles, positions, and levels in a hierarchy. In fact, true leadership has little to do with an actual title or position. Leadership is fundamentally a choice, the actions you take based on that choice, and most importantly, the example that you set for others. While a title offers the official authority to lead, your ability to influence others and have a positive impact is rooted in things that extend well beyond authority. These include emotional intelligence, authenticity, self-awareness, relationship and self- management, integrity, fairness, equity, purpose and passion.
This workshop will help you discover how to lean into leading in all contexts of your academic and professional life no matter where you are in any hierarchy. Gain the confidence to lead with conviction and use the tools provided to set a lifelong journey of leadership.
