On Thursday, September 10, the FOFA Gallery and the Leonard & Bina Ellen Art Gallery invite you to celebrate the opening of their new fall exhibitions, starting at 4:30 PM.
Three exhibitions, two galleries, one evening.
Leonard & Bina Ellen Art Gallery
At 4:30 PM, join curator Zoë Chan for a guided tour of FOODWAYS. The tour will be followed by an opening reception until 7 p.m., with themed bites, refreshments, and opportunities to meet several of the artists featured in the exhibition.
Celebrate the opening of two new exhibitions: The Earth We Carry, curated by Hanss Lujan Torres and featuring artists Skawennati, Taylor McArthur, Destiny Chescappio, Moe Clark, Amanda Lickers, and Kite, presented in the Main Space and Black Box; and Kandis Friesen’s solo exhibition, Where you have not first of all to uproot a whole forest, presented in the York Vitrines and outdoor courtyard. At 5:30 PM, Moe Clark will present a performance as part of The Earth We Carry.
Visit both galleries to celebrate the launch of Concordia’s fall cultural season!

Le jeudi 10 septembre, la Galerie FOFA et la Galerie Leonard & Bina Ellen vous invitent à célébrer, dès 16 h 30, l’ouverture de leurs nouvelles expositions d’automne.
Trois expositions, deux galeries, une seule soirée.
Galerie Leonard & Bina Ellen
À 16 h 30, joignez-vous à la commissaire Zoë Chan pour une visite guidée de PRATIQUES ALIMENTAIRES. La visite sera suivie d’une réception d’ouverture jusqu’à 19 h, avec bouchées thématiques, rafraîchissements et rencontres avec plusieurs des artistes de l’exposition.

Célébrez l’ouverture de deux nouvelles expositions : The Earth We Carry, commissariée par Hanss Lujan Torres et réunissant les artistes Skawennati, Taylor McArthur, Destiny Chescappio, Moe Clark, Amanda Lickers et Kite, dans l’espace principal et la boîte noire; ainsi que l’exposition solo de Kandis Friesen, Where you have not first of all to uproot a whole forest, dans les vitrines York et la cour extérieure. À 17 h 30, une performance de Moe Clark sera présentée dans le cadre de The Earth We Carry.
