Join CUCCR on February 21st for a DIY produce bag workshop as part of Anti-Consumerism week! Don’t Buy That!

One of the most common materials that Concordia University’s Center for Creative Reuse receives are cotton T-Shirts. Each year a variety of T-shirts, bags, cups, etc. are ordered in bulk by different initiatives across Concordia. After events, extras are either accumulated in storage, donated to charity or disposed of. Often they have large logos or dates on them that make it difficult for these initiatives to reuse.

Many are donated to CUCCR so that we take a ‘creative reuse’ approach. In this workshop you will learn how to make a variety of produce bags from your old T-Shirts. You are welcome to bring your own from home, but CUCCR will also provide T-shirts.
