A Digital Story is an effective, engaging and important digital literacy project created by weaving digital photographs, video, voice, text and music into a reflective digital video project. Easily accessible to a wide variety of video experiences from beginner through to advanced, this literacy workshop provides an opportunity for students to shift from being passive consumers of media to active media creators through the production of visual narratives using current technological tools, while reflecting on their rights and responsibilities as consumers and producers of media.
You will learn: how to express yourself using digital tools, photography composition techniques, voice recording tips & new video editing skills. Each student will complete one Digital Story which they can share online or keep as a private video project.
