Certificate in Creative Writing

PROGRAM

Overview

Every writer has a story to tell, but turning it into a finished piece requires structure, discipline, and consistent practice.

The Creative Writing Certificate shows you how to bring ideas to life in a structured and supportive learning environment. You’ll begin by exploring fundamental creative writing techniques before choosing a genre — like memoir or creative non-fiction — that best fits your story idea. With a clear path set, you’ll refine your work in a collaborative writers’ workshop, where you’ll gain feedback to elevate your narrative and differentiate your voice. Through practical exercises and peer discussion, this three-course program will pave the way for you to produce writing you’re proud to share.
