Centrally located in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal, a city whose rich history of intersecting and diverging cultures, languages, nationalities and socioeconomic interests makes it a living laboratory where all aspects of contemporary politics play out, the Department of Political Science at Concordia University brings together a vibrant community of scholars whose award-winning research and teaching in all subfields of the discipline shed light on a wide range of the sociopolitical issues and challenges that are now confronting today’s society. Our undergraduate and graduate programs offer, through first-rate teaching, mentoring and experiential learning opportunities, the possibility to acquire indispensable skills for active citizenship and a variety of career paths in academia, advocacy and in the public, not-for-profit and private sectors.
