Bring It to Them

Universities and CEGEPs face a major obstacle in providing professional development on teaching and learning issues to full-time faculty: getting faculty to participate in face-to-face sessions. In this project, we propose to develop and evaluate an alternate approach to Professional Development: a performance support system. Our performance support system will consist of a summary of the research about the topic--both overall and in the disciplines, case studies, and other resources; and other online resources to encourage faculty to interact with the system.
