Hello! My name is Yasmine, and I am currently studying biochemistry with a minor in Human Rights. A fun fact about me is that I’ve read Pride and Prejudice at least 10 times and I still find something new each time!
The one thing I wished I would have known back in my first term is... there’s a clear correlation between attendance and grades, and, as much as you would want to, you’re never the exception to that rule…
A tip for a new student is... don’t hesitate to build relationships with your professors! I was genuinely surprised at how friendly and willing to help most of them are!
My favourite part of being a Concordia student is... the amazing opportunity to build meaningful connections with people from all over the world. I’ve learned so much through conversations with my classmates on topics ranging from politics to amoebas (true story)!
