Are you interested in studying fine arts but aren't sure if your artwork measures up? Then come to Portfolio Day to get one-on-one constructive feedback about your work from faculty members and current students of Concordia's Faculty of Fine Arts.

Portfolio Day is not a competition or an interview - it's an invaluable opportunity to see if you're on the right track, to find out more about the fine arts programs offered by Concordia, to discuss your goals, and to ask about possible career paths.

You'll meet other prospective students, too, who share your passion for creating. Keep in mind that there will be people with a wide variety of skills and experience. Don't be discouraged if you see work you think is "better" than yours; everyone has a different creative journey. Portfolio Day can be a little bit intimidating - but it can also be inspirational!

Open to those considering either the undergraduate or graduate programs at Concordia, Portfolio Day helps you prepare a strong application and increase your chances of being accepted.

Do make sure to come early! You'll be able to speak with more professors and have a more rounded experience if you leave yourself plenty of time. Please note that newcomers will not be permitted after 3 p.m.

When:     Saturday, February 8, 2014, from 12 to 4 p.m.

Where:    EV 6th floor, Engineering, Computer Science and Visual Arts Integrated Complex (1515 Ste. Catherine St. W.), Sir George Williams Campus
