Water and power shut down affecting LB building

LB, including the Webster library and the Birks Student Services Centre, is closed until further notice.

A shutdown of water and power has occurred in the LB Building. Concordia University personnel are on the scene. The LB Building, including the Webster Library, and the Birks Student Services Centre, the Print Store and the Book Stop, is closed until further notice. 

Study spaces are available in the following rooms in the John Molson School of Business (MB) building: MB 2.210, MB 2.270, MB 3.210 and MB 3.270.

The Birks Student Services Centre offers services remotely. For assistance, please call 514-848-2424 ext. 2668 between the hours of 9 A.M. and 5 P.M., or email students@concordia.ca.

Students needing library services are encouraged to visit the Vanier Library at the Loyola Campus. The Concordia shuttle has resumed service  –  check the online schedule.

Concordia employees working remotely with offices in the LB building will be unable to access their remote desktops due to the ongoing power outage in the building. Once power is restored, remote desktop access will come back online automatically as computers restart. 

Employees who continue to experience access issues following the resumption of power should call Concordia’s Help Desk at 514-848-2424 ext. 7613 or send an email to help@concordia.ca.
