Education PhD student wins an award

Luz Marina Hoyos Vivas defended her PhD in early 2021 (INDI program) and has recently won a prestigious award from RECE (Reconceptualizing Early Childhood Education). 

Luz Marina spent much of her time in the Education Department, taking tutorials and acting as a TA for Carol Rowan’s EDUC 426. Ailie Cleghorn was Luz Marina’s primary supervisor, Diane Pesco and Natasha Blanchet-Cohen (Applied Human Sciences) were her supervisory committee members.
