Advanced Molecular Characterization
Prerequisite: CHEM 234, 241, 333. This course presents advanced techniques to characterize the geometric and electronic structures of molecules. This includes spectroscopic (rotational, vibrational, electronic, photoelectron, NMR, EPR, Mossbauer), diffraction and electrochemical methods. The course introduces the techniques and applies them to concrete case studies. Lectures only.
Pre-requisite: CHEM 341; CHEM 324 previously or concurrently; or permission of the Department.
