Join our new monthly series Dinner and Docs with the Concordia Food Coalition! We`ll be showing an inspiring documentary each month, related to food systems and solutions! Before the meal, join us for a FREE vegetarian potluck. We`ll provide food and people can bring items to share optionally.
This month we`ll be screening the film “Kiss the Ground” which delves into the world of sustainable and regenerative agriculture. Join us to connect with like-minded people on campus! Join us at the Multifaith Spirituality Centre kitchen in the Z Annex at 2090 Mackay!
5-6pm: Dinner (we will get fresh veg from the market to transform into dinner! Plus, feel free to bring a bit of food to cook or share!)
6pm: Screening in the lounge of Kiss the Ground, a documentary in which activists, scientists, farmers, and politicians turn to regenerative agriculture to save the planet’s topsoil, and combat climate change. (1.5 hours)
7/7:30: Discussion on the film! This event is free to attend, and organized by the Concordia Food Coalition
This event is part of Campus Sustainability Month at Concordia, a month-long series of sustainability events and activities.
