Negotiation is an art. Although it may be commonly associated with the workplace, in fact, negotiation is useful in all aspects of life. In this workshop, we will share concrete action and real stories to help you recognize and to build the skills you need to negotiate in a professional manner. A suggestion of things to negotiate in both academic and non-academic jobs will be shared. As an added bonus, if you have a topic to negotiate that could use the brainpower of fellow students, bring it to the workshop. There will be a dedicated portion of time for collaborative brainstorming.
