This roundtable will bring together faculty and graduate students from Concordia’s Department of Religion and Cultures to talk about the various kinds of research done within this department, highlighting the interdisciplinary and diverse nature of the work and graduate streams. Panelists Dr. Naftali Cohn, Dr. Miranda Crowdus, Dr. Sowparnika Balaswaminathan, Jordan Molot, Ellen Dobrowolski, and Katrina Kardash will look at the importance of studying religion, not only from an academic perspective, but also within a Quebec/Canadian context and the ways religion is perceived in these societies. 

This session will be moderated by 2022 Public Scholar and PhD candidate in Religions, Arwa Hussain.
