Leave your mark at Concordia with the Mindful Campus’ community art project! For the next few weeks, we’ll be inviting students, staff, and faculty to drop-by and paint their own ceramic tile. Tiles will later be used as a part of a collective art installation in the EV Junction.
Sessions will be facilitated by fine arts students from Concordia’s Mindful Campus team. You’ll have the opportunity to learn techniques for ceramic art and painting. All levels of experience are welcome!
Join us at the following locations on February 21st:
- 12-1:15 p.m.: Join us in the EV Junction and learn techniques for drawing and watercolour painting on bisque tiles.
- 1:15-2:30 p.m.: Join us in EV 2.645 as we glaze our tiles.
This programming is a part of the Mindful Campus Initiative, a new program at Concordia to support post-secondary students. All parts of this program are free, thanks to support from the Public Health Agency of Canada.
