Terry Barrett is an art educator who has taught art, art criticism, and aesthetics for over 50 years, most of them at Ohio State University. He is the author of several books including Why Is That Art?, Making Art, Criticizing Art, Criticizing Photographs, and CRITS. He presents internationally.

Lecture: "A Consideration of Critiques"

October 3rd: EV-3.760, from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

A discussion of a variety of ways studio critiques in college art classes could be conducted, with reasons and possible outcomes for students and faculty.

Workshop: "Crits in Practice"

An interactive participatory group critique of college artworks.
October 3rd: EV 2.645, from 2 to 4 p.m.
