MRI: The Material Religion Initiative presents a public lecture by Dr. David Morgan.

David Morgan (Religious Studies, Duke University) is a historian of Protestant visual culture and a leading figure in the theorization of religious visuality; his most recent book is The Forge of Vision: A Visual History of Modern Christianity (University of California Press, 2015).

This public lecture is sponsored by the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Society and Culture, the Media History Research Centre, the Global Emergent Media Lab, the Departments of Religion and Communication Studies, and the Office of the Vice-President, Research and Graduate Studies, Concordia University.
