Course Code: CECR 1003
In this course, you’ll get the best of both worlds: a comprehensive, holistic understanding of cyber security ecosystems, architectures and environments in a practical setting, plus some essential hands-on practical experience implementing cyber security by design. You’ll explore the technical and operational layers, information and data flows and digital footprint components of cyber security. While you do all this, you will also cover the key principles and activities required with designing, challenging and implementing cyber security architectures and environments.
*** Note that you will be required to do 5-10 hours of work per week outside of class time. Those with little to no prior knowledge will require more time to gain familiarity with the concepts. ***
