Whether you are bringing your students to Concordia or you’d like a VIP tour for yourself, we can help plan and tailor the visit based to your interests.
Updates
General updates
- Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL): The Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) meets the requirements of the PAL. No change. Students need to apply for a CAQ and receive approval before they can apply for their study permit.
- Designated Learning Institution (DLI): The DLI listed in a student’s study permit application cannot be modified. The student should be certain of which institution they wish to attend before applying. If the student starts their study permit application, and later changes their mind about the institution, they will likely need to restart the entire process (new CAQ, new study permit).
Admissions and curriculum updates
- B.Eng Chemical Engineering: We're excited to announce the launch of our new Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering, available as of winter 2026.
- B.Eng Cybersecurity and B.Sc Cybersecurity: Two of the first of their kind in Quebec, the Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science is happy to announce the new Bachelor of Engineering in Cybersecurity Engineering and the Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, available as of fall 2026.
- International Baccalaureate Career-related Program (IBCP): Students in the IBCP are eligible for admission to Concordia! Students must be enrolled in at least 3 Diploma Program courses, with 2 of these courses at higher level (HL). Advanced standing and/or course exemptions to be determined upon review of the application.
- International Baccalaureate: Strong students with Math AI SL with grade 5 or higher can be considered for admission into programs requiring math.*
- French Baccalaureate: Strong students may be considered if they are missing a partial math requirement.* For example, if the student only has math in either Première or Terminale.
- French Baccalaureate: We can now accept mid-session reports if available, for early assessment. The report must still follow the /20 format like a regular bulletin. If grades aren’t strong enough, we will wait for the 1st trimester bulletin to assess.
*For both the IB and FB math updates, though we will now consider students with these profiles, our recommendation remains that they enrol in math in the last two years of school to be best prepared for the academic rigour of courses at Concordia.
Important dates
