BOOK OUR STUDIO

The Acts of Listening Lab is based on a community of researchers and artists whose work revives on oral history and performance who not only documents the performers but the listeners as well in order to guide out listening and our understanding. Generally, the lab is not booked for purposes unrelated to ALLab.

The performance space can be reserved by all COHDS and ALLab affiliates during time slots with a maximum of 2 hours per booking on Tuesday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. through the form below on a first-come, first-served basis.

The innovative performance space additionally loans audio recorders, headphones and a camera on as needed basis. Affiliates are responsible for replacing the equipment they borrow. Please note that as some of the equipment, such as lights and the audio recording booth, require careful technical expertise, please mark if you require a technician for these items.

If possible, please contact us in advance for requests to be processed accordingly.
