Religions and Cultures UG Essay Contest Winners


The Department of Religions and Cultures held its annual undergraduate essay contest and the winners for 2022-2023 are:

Alix Roederer-Morin for the creative project done for RELI 390 Angels and Demons in Judaism: "Golems, Women, and Queers: the Unformed Ones, the Monsters, the Protectors".

Autumn Banks for the essay written in RELI 298 Decolonizing the Local: "Re-Storying the Concordia Campus: A Photo Collage Essay."

Layla Rudy for the essay written for RELI 409 Methodology in the Study of Religion: "Exploring a Religious Community - Jewish Montreal and the Bagg Street Shul". 

Layla's prize is awarded by the Institute for Canadian Jewish Studies.
