Even though 3D printing has become a useful and popular technology for prototyping, the process also creates a lot of plastic waste. This waste produced is not guaranteed to be recycled at the end of its life. However, achieving zero waste with this technology can be difficult but not impossible. This workshop, hosted by the Concordia Precious Plastic Project (CP3) and the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineers, Concordia chapter (CSME Concordia), will outline the environmental issues with 3D printing and tips to reduce your waste.
